Arunachal launched Sashakt Kisan and Krishi Samuh Yojana


Arunachal Pradesh Government on 8th October, launched the Chief Minister’s Sashakt Kisan Yojana and Chief Minister’s Krishi Samuh Yojana in Itanagar.


Empowering the farmers through cooperative approach, by providing timely supports and marketing interventions of the government for better price realization and doubling farmers’ income.


It is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to double the income of the farmers in the country by 2022.

It will boost the state’s effort to fulfill this vision. The government has been continuously working for the welfare of the farmers and advocated for more scientific based farming.

Arunachal Pradesh produce around 4.5 thousand metric tonnes of fish per year, whereas the requirement is about 15000 MT.

The people of Arunachal have got a ready market for fish products which are needed to be exploited by the farmers in the state.

The Chief Minister’s Sashakt Kisan Yojana will subsume three state flagship programmes,
